What event is it about??

Like every year, The center of Córdoba is decorated in a special way in the weeks before Christmas to convey the feeling that prevails on these dates. This year, the central Plaza de las Tendillas will host for the sixth time the City of Córdoba Christmas Market, which will be open from 8 from November to 22 December 2019.

Organized by the Bethlehem Cultural Association, The Christmas Market will have the participation of more than twenty companies from all over Spain, occupying a total of 45 cabins.

In total, around twenty companies will be the ones that make up the Market. The two main requirements that the Belenista Association of Córdoba imposes on businessmen who want to be part of this small bazaar are: very thorough hygiene and, as far as possible, their products represent a promotion of the city.

Indistinctly, The Market will continue to offer typical sweets such as buñuelos, waffles and caramelized foods and other foods to which products from different parts of Spain will be added. As is tradition, The Nativity Scene Association of Córdoba also promotes the dissemination of other Spanish delicacies, How were the Galician products?, Malaga cheeses and sausages from Extremadura from previous editions of the Market.

For the little ones there will be a series of children's activities where theater and magic stand out.. There will also be a six by two meter nativity scene and a Christmas tree.. It should be noted, that next to the Christmas market, on Cruz Conde street, For the first time in Córdoba there will be a Christmas show of lights and music.

Dates and times

The Christmas Market will remain open until next 22 December from Monday to Thursday, de 10:30 a 14:30 and of 17:00 a 21:00, while on Fridays the schedule is 10:00 a 23:00. Sundays, for his part, opens 10:00 a 21:00.
