VI Caliphate Gourmet Edition
Córdoba Caliphate Gourmet it's a unique gastronomic event that brings together relevant figures of the spanish cuisine. In Córdoba Gourmet Caliphate you will have the opportunity to enjoy original experiences and culinary sensations with them, at the same time knowing the quality of the Cordoba restoration.
Andalusian cuisine will be the axis on which the sixth edition of Córdoba Califato Gourmet will revolve, that is going to be celebrated in this Andalusian capital on the days 14 y 15 October. This has been confirmed in a note by the organization of the event that, for this new occasion, will feature “an incredible cast of Andalusian chefs with the clear intention of not only showing the best of our gastronomy, but to honor what is the symbol of Andalusian culture.”.
In this edition of 2019 Oscar Calleja will intervene, of the restaurant Annua, San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria ; David Garcia, from the restaurant El Corral de la Morería, Madrid; Jesus Segura, from Trivio restaurant, Cuenca; Juan Lu Fernández., from the Juanlu Cocina y Alma restaurant, Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz; Pedro Sanchez, from Baga restaurant, Jaen; Benito Gomez, part restaurante Bardal, Ronda, Málaga; and the pastry chef José Roldán.

One of the novelties of the edition of the Córdoba Caliphate Gourmet is that it has incorporated a round table in which the sustainability and haute cuisine. It will address waste management in the sector and, Óscar Calleja will participate in it, of the restaurant Annua, San Vicente de la Barquera (Cantabria); Jesus Segura, from Trivio restaurant, in Cuenca; David Garcia, from the restaurant El Corral de la Morería, from Madrid; and a representative of the company Too Good To Go.
Those who will not be missing will be the Cordoba chefs Kisko García, from Choco restaurant; Paco Morales, from Noor restaurant; and Celia Jiménez, from CJ's restaurant.

Showcooking Street Food with the participation of 40 establishments in Córdoba and province. The audience will be able to taste the tapas offered, at a price of 2 euros each, and then vote for your favorites.
The Michelin Star Chefs who will form the jury in this Sixth Edition CCG2019 will choose the 3 winning caps. From the public votes the 3 best popular tapas.
The six winning tapas will have the right to participate in the Official ShowCooking of 2020 together with the Michelin Star chefs of the Seventh Edition of Córdoba Caliphate Gourmet.

Show Cooking Oficial 2019
Official cooking show with the participation of Michelin star chefs who will each prepare a tapa. In total it will be 15 tapas (counting the winning establishments of 2018).
The format of previous editions will be maintained, for some 250 assistants. The event will be accompanied by the best products from the sponsors, that will harmonize perfectly with the tapas that will be exhibited. Attendees will be able to enjoy a selection of tapas specially selected for the occasion..
