What event is it about??
In July, Córdoba becomes the Guitar City. The Córdoba Guitar Festival (España) It is a cultural event with a monographic character and various musical and artistic manifestations around this instrument and that has consolidated its prominent position in the creative and leisure offer offered by major festivals around the world..
The Festival offers two complementary areas:
On the one hand, the so-called Training program, with courses on guitar construction, old guitar, classic guitar, flamenco, contemporary, modern, guitar composition courses, and flamenco dancing and singing courses.
On the other hand, The Festival is based on care Concerts and Shows Program, where very different musical styles have a place with the guitar as the protagonist. The greatest figures of flamenco guitar have passed through the Córdoba Festival, modern, jazz and classical and early music.
The musical and educational offer is completed with a series of Complementary activities, that accommodate a variety of programming, as the Study Days on traditional guitar history, exhibitions, presentations, publications…
