Su Historia<\/h2>\n

La\u00a0juder\u00eda de C\u00f3rdoba<\/b>\u00a0es una zona de la ciudad espa\u00f1ola de\u00a0C\u00f3rdoba<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0que fue, entre los siglos XIII y XV, el barrio en el que viv\u00edan los jud\u00edos. La zona que actualmente es conocida por ese nombre se encuentra situada al noroeste de la\u00a0Mezquita Catedral<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, en la zona comprendida entre las calles\u00a0Deanes<\/b>,\u00a0Manr\u00edquez<\/b>,\u00a0Tom\u00e1s Conde<\/b>,\u00a0Jud\u00edos<\/b>,\u00a0Almanzor<\/b>\u00a0y\u00a0Romero<\/b>, aunque no se corresponda exactamente con la zona donde habitaron mayoritariamente los jud\u00edos durante dicho periodo.<\/p>\n

Forma parte del\u00a0centro hist\u00f3rico de C\u00f3rdoba<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0que fue declarado\u00a0Patrimonio de la Humanidad<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0por la\u00a0Unesco<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0en 1994.<\/p>\n

Anteriormente, durante la\u00a0invasi\u00f3n musulmana<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, los jud\u00edos hab\u00edan quedado expulsados extramuros, fundamentalmente en la zona hoy situada entre los\u00a0jardines de la Merced<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0y la\u00a0iglesia de Santa Marina<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Esta zona sufri\u00f3\u00a0razias<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0peri\u00f3dicas hasta ser finalmente aniquilada en 1148 durante la ocupaci\u00f3n\u00a0almohade<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, aunque ya previamente gran parte de la poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda hab\u00eda emigrado hacia los reinos cristianos.<\/p>\n

Tras recuperar\u00a0Fernando III<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0la ciudad durante la\u00a0conquista de C\u00f3rdoba<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0en 1236, volvieron los jud\u00edos a establecerse en ella, fundando la\u00a0Sinagoga<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0y asent\u00e1ndose en los alrededores de la misma, entre la calle del Arquillo y el\u00a0palacio Episcopal<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Es una de las zonas m\u00e1s visitadas por los turistas ya que, adem\u00e1s de la Mezquita-Catedral, en ella se pueden ver monumentos como la Sinagoga, el\u00a0Zoco Municipal<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0o el\u00a0Museo Taurino<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, entre otros.<\/p>\n

Las calles que pertenecen a este barrio y que debes visitar son: empezando por la calle Jud\u00edos donde se encuentra La Casa Andalus\u00ed y la Sinagoga, o la Casa de Sefarad o Casa de la Memoria, pasando por la Plaza de Tiber\u00edades, donde podr\u00e1s ver la estatua de bronce de Maim\u00f3nides, siguiendo a calles como Averroes, Ceballos, Tom\u00e1s Conde, Deanes y la Plaza del Cardenal Salazar donde el antiguo hospital es hoy la sede de la Facultad de Filosof\u00eda y Letras.<\/p>\n
